i really need your thoughts on this. i have borderline and so does my adult son. but it's his g/f that worries me. my son said at one hospital where she went they told them she had borderline. but every so many months she goes into these violent rages she has in the past pushed my son through a window and hit him. the last time it happened she wanted to go to the pub and meet a friend but my son had his young cousin over and decided to take them to the seaside instead as he said he wouldn't be back in time to pick her up from the pub. she was ok until they passed the pub on their way to the seaside she went into a rage screaming and grabbed his hair from the back seat as he was driving. i have never witnessed these rages until yesterday . my son had rang me for help because he was scared of being on his own with her and i can see why. by the time i got there she had already threatened to throw him down the stairs and kick his head in. was snorting like as i can only describe as a horse. accusing my son of violence and ringing the police which she has done before. so we took her to the police station as thats where she said she wanted to go to report my son. we knew they wouldn't believe her as they know what she is like. from there we took her to the hospital as thats where she had wanted to go she had already been there several times before in the past few day. my son told me they had said she had drug induced psychosis. anyway its the early hours of the morning we are sat there in the accident and emergency dept waiting for the crisis team she starts on about having to wait so my partner asks how long we are told he is just on his way over .she says she feels sick goes to the toilet stands in the doorway goes on the floor then starts screaming no getting louder and louder the crisis man and security take her to a room while waiting she chat to the nurse and ask if they will section her she said no they only do that if mental illness is present and shes already been in 8 times in the last few days i asked if she was saying she was not mentally ill she said yes she wasn't mentally ill. things just got worse at my sons flat she was throwing herself on the floor screaming ,threatening my son. threatening to kill herself. saying i thought she was attention seeking because when she was on the floor i told him to stay back. banging her head with her fists. every time she got took to hospital they discharged her then she would go missing. but on another meeting with the crisis team she said me and my son had took her pills then cool as a cucumber said "oh i'm being paranoid" there was a pattern she would throw herself on the floor or just fall to the floor and if she didn't get no reaction then would start screaming and threatening to kill herself. then last night after attacking her dad she was took to hospital by the police on a 136 where she has to be seen by professionals but was discharged again because she had her full faculties . she is due to see a psychiatrist on friday but if they say there is no mental illness present what the hell is wrong with her. she does sometimes smoke cannibus and take legal highs and drinks but surely she wouldn't be like this for about a week. it's my sons safety which concerns me he is scared of her. if no mental illness is present how do i approach it if it happens again. your thoughts please ty.
