Personality Disorders Support Group
Personality disorders form a class of mental disorders that are characterized by long-lasting rigid patterns of thought and behaviour. Personality disorders are seen by the American Psychiatric Association as an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the culture of the individual who exhibits it.
i don't know how it feels to have BPD, i'm not an expert on it but i do have a best friend who has it, and i love her and support her and try to give her hope every day. i've seen her struggle and at the same time try so hard and do better.. and i think giving her support and encouragement to push through and dont give up has helped her, so i was only offering the same support to anyone here who needs it.
like i said i am sorry and did not mean to hurt anyone's feelings.. my sincerest apologies.
I find the viewpoints interesting, and it can be helpful to have outside input. I do not think we should have exclusive thread rights, if someone who might be of help or wishes to share support we should accept this.
I do not want to be defined as BPD first and foremost. I am Dryade first and foremost, and yes, I have BPD. I will not curse gravity for letting me fall - I will still take the chance to stand up and walk. If someone lends me a hand, I do not have to do this alone. Thanks for your input, kerryxlynne.
