When I first saw the phone with cob webs that got me . As to I have the ringer turned off. I only talk when I feel feel enough to.
I avoid most things if I can or try to get out of them.

I know I have AVPD. It's really no fun. Like the video showed, I want to do things with people and have friends, yet I have so much fear for some reason. I am extremely self conscious and worry so much that I can't relax completely. So when I'm at work or even with my friend, I am somewhat tense and uptight--never fully relaxed. I don't know if I will ever change but I am trying to work on it.

I can relate to that video. I recently got Diagnoised with AVPD. It sucks, and it's taking over my life. Even when I'm with a friend or someone I know, it still feels like they just don't care and are secretly "rejecting me". And I'm too scared to hold a job because if I do something completely embarrasing to myself infront of others I have to avoid people because if I see them again they're going to ridicule and reject me heavly. I can't speak to other's properly because I'm more concerned about what if I stuff up first impressions and if I would have to avoid that place/person. It's sucks and I hate it because I also have depression along with it. So It's like I need to avoid people but at the same time I want to just fade away.
