Personality disorders are seen by the American Psychiatric Association as an enduring pattern of inner experience and behavior that deviates markedly from the expectations of the culture of the individual who exhibits it.
i not attend a thearpy group once a week it teaches how to cope with problems etc it's called stop and think similar to cbt/dbt.i have a one to one with my thearpist(cpn) every two weeks. when was first diagnosed i was on risperdol but i came off it because i was that tired.i'm just on tegretol now for my mood swings .
ok i have the off day where my mood swings get a bit bad.
i still think in black and white sometimes.and people do go from hero to zero with me.
but i think in my part of the uk we have a good mental health team.
THAT WOULD BE THE SAME THING IF I SAID I WAS CHINESE, AND I AM NOT. EVEN IF I MOVE TO CHINA OR AFRICA, I CAN'T SAY I AM, BECAUSE I AM NOT.
FUNNY. DON'T GET THE IMPRESSION THAT I AM PREJUDICED, JUST THAT THERE ARE THINGS THAT ARE NOT RIGHT IN REPRESENTATION.
