Peptic Ulcers Support Group
A peptic ulcer is an ulcer of one of those areas of the gastrointestinal tract that are usually acidic. Most ulcers are now known to be associated with Helicobacter pylori, a spiral-shaped bacterium that lives in the acidic environment of the stomach. About 4 % of gastric ulcers are caused by a malignant tumor, which is one reason to be vigilant in their detection.
I have doing a lot of reading that cabbage juice helps heal ulcers and is what they used back in the day before PPI's were around. I am going to give it a whirl. They say nature has the cure for everything. I also read raw organic honey is very soothing and so I tried it and it is. It also can promote healing. I also read coconut oil does the same. So swallowing a couple of teaspoons of Organic Extra Virgin coconut oil a couple times of day may help has well.
