I have just had a 2nd embolisation done. Does anyone know if the recovery time is quicker and easier for subsequent embolisations? My doctor hoped that it would be!

Improvement after embolisation is slow...
I have noticed a slight improvement in the post procedure pain but that is all.
It has been 3 weeks so I guess that I need to be patient.

I am sue i need more done as each month around my cycle my bottom and back of legs ache. I have had a hysterocomy but was told still have a ovulation.

How has it been for you now. ?

Improving buy still have pelvic pain and have to be careful with what I do so that I don't make it worse. Still have a terrible heaviness and pain in pelvic area and thighs at period time - same as you do. Maybe this is as good as it gets?

Dont suppose theres anyone from Ireland on here that got an embolisation done? Where and when ? And how did u get appointment? And did it work?
