People with depression are more than 3x as likely to get PD. It CAN be overwhelming if you don't get support. Prayers for his respose and peace.

Sorrry for his loss. I think how powerful a spokes man he would have been if he joined up with the MJFF and said to the world I have got it too. They say nobody dies from pd. they die from things like falling or lung problems. No one drops from tremors, dyskinesias, loss of sens of smell.

....get pd...have labored breathing....die from an overworked heart....thats not pd? or.......get pd lose swallowing control.....die from pneumonia.....not pd? or....get shot and bleed out causing heart failure.......say you didnt die from the gunshot just the heart failure.....by this reasoning noone dies from just about anything....just from the results.

When already depressed, I do not know what it would be like to rely on your living and sense of self with physical comedy, movement, a strong voice and a fast mind. The idea of losing parts of yourself is terrifying to me (maybe all of us).

I mourn for this man's loss of hope. His life was a joy to so many of us, and he always struggled. But PD diagnosis, without enough precise information (as much as we can get) is DEVASTATING

I can remember my excitement as we sat in front of the TV waiting for the first episode of "Mork and Mindy." I was a faithful watcher for the entire series and enjoyed every moment.

We have lost a unique individual who filled our hearts with laughter. I wished that he understood how much his humor meant to so many. There is not way you could watch him perform and not laugh. What an amazing and beautiful mind he had.

Bless you, Robin. I hope that you have found the peace that eluded you in this life. I will miss you.

It's so sad to hear of Robin's passing... a talented guy. We all react in different ways and face our problems alone at times when we should seek professional help.
I like many know that there are worse illnesses in life but pd can be & is a stressful, tiring & energy sapping illness.

My thoughts are with his family, he'll be missed....
