It will be great seeing Fox on TV again! From what I read, however, there's no new drug he's taking, he's just following a different regimen.
"He told ABC News earlier this year that a new combination of drugs was helping him with his ailments, which includes tics and tremors, and the medication has enabled him to work more."
Doesn't sound like he wants to share his plan just yet . - Bari
Thanks for the heads-up. I found the story here, both in video and transcribed print: http://www.examiner.com/article/new-drug-regimen-allows-michael-j-fox-to-return-to-television-full-time-2013
MJFJr has his own foundation website. I suppose if one of us were to cobble together a letter asking for more info about which drugs, and why we have some vested interest in learning more, we might get a good response. Of course, I can also see that such information is not the usual stuff for wide distribution, so he might just as well beg off. Still, it would be nice for us to be on his map.

Sorry, much as I admire MJF's commitment to fundraising, I do not think he realistically educates the general population. Is this his responsibility? I think if he comes out as a "spokesman for PD" he should grab a dose of reality.
I have such a tremendous respect for Michael J Fox for all the awesome work he has done and still doing for PD... As for his return to do the TV series I think this is a great idea but I maybe in a minority here, as I recall some guy on the radio being quite abrasive towards him a few years ago... as much as I'd like this TV series to be a great success I fear it could fuel the less compassionate people out there.
Michael is a big star and has the respect of millions worldwide.. I personally think humour has a important part to play in coping with PD, without it I don't think I would have got this far. Humour is great if used in the right context regarding this subject, you must know just how far to go without undermining the illness in this case PD.
In my view he is the only guy who could do this and I hope it's a great success.

I do believe that if any pd sufferer found relief, or the perfect med regime, they/he/she would share.
Maybe that comment which was attached to his return to media, was just media hype!
Hopefully he'll bring the regimen or whatever he is doing to feel better to the attention of the public.
