I know you all are sitting back laughing as I go through my newbie stage. That's OK, cause I am laughing too. (It's the only thing keeping me from crying at the moment)
I have a feeling I am in for a lot of lessons with this disease. Here are a few things that I have found out so far.
1. I am not going to get any answers on what is going to happen next - no one knows and no one can say. (Darn it)
2. Apparently it's illegal to buy drugs from other countries if you live in the US. Even if the drug is only $50 a month in Canada and over $370 a month in the US it is still against federal law. I did not know that! Now my question is - do they enforce the law???
3. Antihistamines can make my symptoms worse - so my doctor just informed me. Hhmm - what else is affecting me that I don't know about?
4. In light of number 3, I think it would be helpful to start keeping a daily log, to see if there are other things that may affect symptoms, and to test if #3 is really true. ha ha
5. There will be a lot more learning ahead, and a lot of that learning will be about myself.
6. Laughter really is the best medicine and one I intend to use a lot.
7. There are some wonderful people on this site - and I am looking forward to learning more from everyone here.

Khis, I had to chuckle about your husband and the chain saw. However, I am sure it may not be so funny to you sometimes. But - I still say good for him!! I hope I am still feisty after 20 years with PD. "Don't come any closer - I got the saw and I know how to use it!" ha ha I think I may have watched too many horror movies.
