This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !

I just found out my two beautiful girls have been molested by my father in law. I confronted him and he shot and killed himself. Did not want to face what was coming! I feel like i have been skinned alive. We all are in therapy, but someone please tell me when this sick feeling will go away?

I'm glad to hear that you are all in therapy. It helps get through some of the overwhelming emotions. Journaling my feelings was another big help for me. Be there for your daughters. You will find strength you never dreamed you would have. Part of me hates the fact your FIL took the coward's way out instead of facing what he did, but part of me is jealous my daughter's abuser didn't do the same. March 4 was a year since I found out about my daughter's abuse. Although that sick feeling has started to fade, I still find days where it is overwhelming. Just keep breathing and you will eventually get there! Hugs and prayers sent your way!

Thanks so much for your words of support. You feel so alone in this, but it is so sick that there are so many abused children. It really does not sit well for mankind. At this stage of the game I am glad he is dead and will never have to deal with him again. I was so careful always where I let my kids go, and who they were with, and here someone I thought I could trust and protect my kids hurt them so badly. The pain just brings me to my knees. My mother in law did not know her own husband for 50 years! He was a sick pedophile! Thanks for listening.

My heart goes out to you! I am with brokensun on this! There were days that I thought that my son would kill himself and he never did. I am thankful he didn't but somedays I felt like it would be easier. I know they say God gives us what we can handle, but seriously! wow! Prayers to you and all of the family!

I just ask myself everday. Where are you God in this? lilbutmighty, I cant imagine how you got through what you did, child against child, it must have been horrific. My younger brother was molested by his older brother, he never told until he was in his 20's, by then he was a full blown alcoholic and now a crack abuser. My mother did not take a stand against the older brother and it caused so much damage. So you had to do what you had to do, but it must of been a torment for you. Prayers to you, our faith is all we have at this point.

I feel for you. I have the same feelings. We are coming up on the one yr. mark of me finding out about my daughters abuser. We have had along year. he is in prison, but the fear, anger, hurt is still with us..Some days are ok. We are putting are life back together slowly.She is getting help, but I have not been able to do so for myself so that is why i am here. Trying to get back to normal again. All I can tell you is look at your daughters, if they are anything like mine, they maybe the ones that lead us back to that normal in our lives. Mine is leading the way.
