I can only tell you how much YOUR thoughts equal MINE and I so needed to feel like someone "gets it"...Besides my horror of having both of my disclose to me that they have been being abused by their FATHER, I have been forced to my knees because NONE of these so-called child advocacy or CPS agencies DO anything about the abuse. Has anyone ever felt as if this agency almost makes YOU the reporter, their MOMMY, out to be the abuser or the bitter ex-wife playing games with the system...I am mortified actually, and frankly, it seems, their no authority to substantiate abuse report OTHER than CPS...what do you do as parent who cant kidnap the children but also has NO ONE to help get my boys free from harm. Whatdid, I am sorry to say this, but IMO, I dont think even that type of extravagant measures would change A THING. I am in an absolute gut wrenching position of not being able to do much of ANYTHING, it seems, to protect my boys. Other than to tell them it is NOT ok and they are NOT a fault.

We could make a difference. Come up with a plan and I bet we can come together. Another mom mentioned writing letters to all our reps. Maybe the good writers on here could do some examples and we can flood their mail boxes and send press releases....I'm in. Things need to change.

Wow, that's great, we're thinking the same way. I was talking to a friend of mine, about starting something up also. I live in Canada though, but it sounds like all of North America needs a kick in the ass, with our laws against pedophiles. It is way too slack! If they even get jail time, it's not for very long. It's ridiculous.

I have been thinking about this for a long time. It would be nice to start a group like Mom's Against Sexual Abuse. I'm kind of stuck on how to start though. Maybe we will start as our cases are resolved.

I am working on a paper for school on this subject, I would love to have every one involved while writing this to the Reps and the press.. Every ones story should be told, esp the ones who CPS and Authorities have made lives worse then they already are. I will send all of you an email with my email add attached.

I've already wrote everyone I could find!! There's a site that gives out government e-mails and such...look it up...and the senator has a place just around the corner from my house, so I'm told....plan to make a visit there with the babes and a letter...so I don't have to go into it with them there, they are very little. U tell me the date to be on the lawn of the white house and I'm there!! With signs!! Tee shirts!! I'll even bring extras..I went on vista print and got a magnet for the car..that says STOP child abuse..listen to the children...they have small voices that need to be heard...I'm awaiting for it's arrival!! I also own a company with many followers that once this is complete..and through the process...I plan to give these signs out for free. Stick them on all cars in the US :)

jodychdcr- I was right there with ya! CPS is a joke, but do some research and move, there are good ones...and I was treated the same way, twice (two counties) and I even told them I'd do a lie dector, whatever, I didn't put this in my kids heads...look at me...I'm a wreck!! AND..I was with you on the child advocacy centers..what a joke..but in this county, they are awesome and so helpful, gave me cards of people that can help ME for FREE!! And call to see how I'm doing!! WHAT?!? ....the others said I was being vindictive...as I'm bawling....

Another thing I found very helpful is tape what they tell ya..and I know..it's a blurting thing...so u can get these little tape recorders that look like a lighter, small but powerful and not that expensive...holds lots of data...put in pocket...they blurt, the authorities can hear what they said and what you said leading up to that and after to prove u aren't putting this in their heads! I hope this tip helps others.

I have over $90K invested in protecting my children and most people don't have that kind of money and I shouldn't have to have had it....we are victims of the system. Kids need a voice, especially these really little ones that just can't make this up, seriously...

I am with all of you on this subject. We have received no useful information or help and we have actually been made to be "the bad guys". They are always looking for a reason to strip us of our parental rights and we are the only safe people they have left. All the rest were the abuser, the ones beating the kids and brainwashing them into not mentioning their abuse & their mother who in the kids entire lives spent the most amout of care & time with them while they were in her uterus. We fought to get custody of our kids- spending thousands. Fought to keep custody in lieu of their grandmother- spending thousands and fought to seek justice in relation to their abuse- spending thousands. Why would we devote all of that time and money to kids we don't care about or don't absolutely love to death. I actually started to feel like CPS would rather have had the kids in a foster home than with their dad & step-mom (they call me mom tho). I am gonna be right there with you guys on the white house lawn! I'll design the t-shirts and posters and I like the acronym MASA. Just like NASA we want to show the world "what is out there".

I am in the middle of some really frustrating things--broken lawn mower, broken a/c (it's only supposed to reach 92 today!), checking on cousin who had heart attack @ 51 and was just discharged from hospital, one son backed his car into other son's front fender, ripping out pool sidewalk and putting in pavers (do it yourself project), getting funding in order for 2 kids college payments due in a couple weeks, etc. But as soon as I can I'll try and get a sample letter together, I used to write for an advocacy group in our church (that we no longer attend because of an employee's involvement in our case).

I totally agree. There are two laws I am trying to figure out how to write up to pass federally for my grandson. My daughter was sexually abused by her real father in a different state from where we live. It has been a bad two years. My grandson lives everyday and we never know if it will be his last. He has a lot of problems since he and my daughter have the same father. IT SUCKS!!! Let me know if you come up with anything!! Bandmom5, I can totally relate to your post. We have drained our accounts, maxed cards, and tken out the last of the equity in our home for a dead end street. We are about to loose insurance due to my husband making $38 dollars over the limit...grrr. When the storm passes I can only hope you can reach the calm sea. We did have 2 cars but about a month ago our vn was lit on fire melted the entire dash, seats and doors, what really stinks is we are still paying on this......We all can and will get through this, we all just need to stand together. {{{HUGS}}} to all of you and your families

I live in England and it's the same over here. I have started my own support group....have been to the local paper.....I am giving a talk tomorrow to our local Council, the head of police and socail services will be there, and they are the people I think let us down the most!

The Laws suck, they protect the perps, not our babies.....I'll do anything I can to help...this needs to be a world wide thing by the sounds of it..........

We need to come up with a new acronym and I agree that awareness needs to worldwide.
