I mentioned BACA in a reply to someone recently. I can't remember who it was. But I wanted to just let you all know that BACA stands for Bikers Against Child Abuse, and that includes Sex Abuse. They will help when there is no one to stand between you and an abuser. They will come to court for support, etc. etc. They will drive by your house to make sure things are OK, they do some really good work. If you do a Google search for BACA it will bring up their home page and you can read about them and see if they have any chapters in your state. I have not needed to ask for their help, but I know they stand ready to help whenever they can. Good luck to you.

Yes...while this seems like a nice idea...who is to say these people are who they say they are?
After the trauma of CSA, mine and my child's, I realise I am a tad hypervigilant...but I am not keen on anyone knowing our business or our address for that matter. Pedophiles are attracted to things that involve children. Wouldn't BACA be the ultimate hiding place for a pedo? Call me crazy....trick me once shame on me, trick me twice........just sayin'

I would like to add that the Utah chapter of BACA made my childrens ordeal public and expected them to be ok with this... we moved out of state to better their lives from the constant harassment. FUCK BACA!!!!!

Sorry I mentioned them, as I stated I had not needed to call on them, so I had no experience with them, only what their website said. I am sorry to have offended any of you.

Jennifer, you have not offended me in the slightest...I am aware that your intention was of a very good nature and of absolutely no malace whatsoever. Just putting in my two cents. Some people love this idea. I'm just highlighting a con for me. I know that others love the idea of BACA and it did wonderful things for their children and healing.

No offense at all. My experience was a bad one but I do in fact know of several kids that have been positively effected by this group. I would like to add that Justine is right about pervs as well. Baca cannot read minds of its members and must rely on a background check. As we all know most pedophiles have not been caught yet so this is an unreliable method of securing a childs safety.
