Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
Our daughter is at a critical juncture in her drug rehab program. We learned today that she is one infraction away from dismissal -- signing her own death sentence. I have given up on religion and have barely prayed in years, but I am reminded of what Abraham Lincoln said about the line between belief and need:
“I have been driven many times upon my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had no where else to go. My own wisdom and that of all about me seemed insufficient for that day.”
I would deeply appreciate any prayers you could offer that will help my daughter see the light that she deserves her freedom while she is alive.
