Parents of Prisoners Community Group
A group that tries to share with each other how they deal with being a good supporting parent of a prisoner and the unique problems that arise. What to share or not, how to deal with spouse of prisoner, ex-spouse of, children of prisoner which we may not see either anymore,so forth
One of my employees took her daughter to the doctor today and they were told she may have the Swine flu. Won't know for sure until all the test come in. Another employee found out today that her 24 year old son has lung cancer. She broke down at work-can't blame her. Then before the end of the day, another employee advised me that another job she had applied for has been offered to her. We are already down 2 employees and because of budget cuts won't be able to replace them. Now we will be down another employee. My ex is taking my son hunting this weekend, he already picked him up. I'll worry the whole weekend until he makes it home. And my son that is currently in jail has court set up for Monday. A little stressed right now is putting it lightly. I've only been home from work for 1 1/2 hours and already ate more than I've probably eaten all week. I'm off to go look for some chocolate...lots of chocolate!!
But that does not take away the life is out of control feeling...just makes you mad at yourself tomorrow for blowing your cool balance again!
We all have days where we want to pull out every hair on our head out of frustration...or rail and wail at God at Why, oh why is this misery continuing every where we look?
Just remember whatever stresses we are under that all things pass!
Life is about constant change.
Those days I come here to pour it all out...and journal like ad...less fattening that way!
