I am so tired and stressed my poor son is angrey. He tells me trys to be goood in school but just cant. Right now he is on vyvanse,oxcarbazepine 300 mg twice a day and he supposed to be paxil as well but he just went way off the deep end on that so I tapered him off that. Told kids at school that he wanted to kill himself and the school freaked and called C>P>S. on me. I callled his nuroglist rt away and we cut his dose in half and did that for awhile but we took him off it completly. I dont think the pills are right he is stilll angery he just seemed to be stuck there. His therapist seems to be in the same place right now with me. I'm So sorry To Hear What You And Your Son Are Going Through. Try And stay strong For The Two Of Ya. Things will Get Better, Keep Trying To Make All The Positive Things In his Live Stand Out. He'sTrying To Be Good And That's Positive! I'll Pray For You And Your son

how old is he. I would take him off all meds too. sounds like he is mis diagnosed. wish i could help

I'm sorry to hear you are going thru this... I have the same situation going on with my son... Right now he is hospitalized because of Prozac being added to his meds. My son also takes oxcarbazepine 300 mg my son ended up "getting use to it". You may to talk to the doctor about Depakote. My son is now taking that and it seems to really be working. Sometimes the mood stabilizers like oxcarbazepine will make things worse than better. You just have to find the right one. The paper thing might be because of anxiety some kids do unusual things when they are anxious. As far as cps that's really ridiculous because its not like you did anything to him and you are ding whats right by having him in therapy. I hope my advice has helped. I also hope things get better for you.
