Like your son, my little guy only has 2 bottles a day, a small one in the morning before brekkie and his normal one at night before bedtime. As he doesn't look for a bottle at any other time of the day/night I went back to giving him his milk out of a bottle. I figured it was just one less battle to worry about. Maybe its going backwards but as long as he is using the sippy cup throughout the day to drink his water, I have no problems with it.
Kinda like when you grab J's drink instead of your own... you like his drink okay it just wasn't what you were expecting.
Maybe try something that just looks totally different than what he is used to.
So instead I fed her tons of other dairy products. And I found she didn't like homo milk as much as 2%, and now 1%. Plus...this may help. Give it to him in an actual cup. Help him of course, for the first while until he gets it himself. But he may just want to be able to look into the cup as he drinks. It's the only way my daughter would drink milk. She started at about 14 months with water, so just putting milk into it didn't seem to bother her.
Good luck!
Until I was confident he was drinking enough out
Of the cups and that wasn't until 20 months. Maybe try different cups, different flavors...choc, vanilla, strawberry...good luck!
