Are the other children the same age as Marlow? Can you involve her in some way either before/after children are there so she feels a part of the kids being there?
Does she use the same utensils? Perhaps new cute/fun ones that are different might help or else make a game with the kids around eating.
Good luck with it.
She is 2, and there are two other 2 year olds, plus a 5 year old when shes not in school, and a six month old. I try and let her help with the baby as much as possible. To try and include her. As for the other kids, they all freak out if she tries to help them since 2 is the great age of independance!
She was using special 'Marlow' utensils. A kid set with pink handles. But all the other kids use regular forks and spoons, so she told me she wanted big ones too, so she started using the big ones as well. I could go get special big ones and try that lol. I will try anything right now!
She has also started to ask me to feed her again. And I think that's just from seeing me feed the baby. So I just tell her she has to feed herself like a big girl because she is a big girl and the baby has to be fed because she/he is a baby. And I let her help me feed whatever baby I happen to have that day as well if it's feasable.
