I did a bit of reading into what causes this. The one thing I saw over and over for advice on how to resolve it- stick to a routine. Make sure you are doing the exact same thing every single night, otherwise it'll happen more often. Another thing I read was that this is a time when toddlers try to climb into bed with mum or dad- its a stage they go through and can sometimes last up until they start school.

I know its for babies, but it really soothes her to sleep. It projects a scene onto the ceiling and plays music. She's learned how to work it, so she will push the button herself when she needs it. It can completely light up the room.
I'm hoping that it settles down because it is super tiring! lol
