Back to the article... their statement that a high calorie diet increases the number of boys from 10 to 11 out of 20 makes no sense. They say it increases it from 50% to 55%, but it never was 50%!
Also they say that birth of boys is on slight decline in richer countries. Wouldn't be the reverse? Shouldn't we be seeing a population explosion of boys in the US? Goodness knows we consume enough calories. Or are they saying that b/c women in richer countries are always on diets, we are having more girls.
Okay, thanks for reading this. I always have to expound on biology topics. Must be the teacher in me. ;-)
