Winter is upon us, and oh how I hate winter where we live. It makes me want to move to the states because I know there are warm spots there!
I'm wondering what I can do with my little one this winter. She is 14 months and going stir crazy already. Let me say that, one, I cannot drive her anywhere as I have a heart condition that has prevented me from obtaining a license and it's too cold to wait at a bus stop(it gets to -40C here), and two, she is terrified of the snow! She won't even step on it without screaming!
We colour, we read, we sing, we dance, and she gets cranky and terrorizes the house. I'm looking for fun things we can do inside. I'm going to keep trying to get her used to the snow, she is going to grow up in a place that has six months of freezing cold, three months of cold, and three months of crazy heat, after all.

Also my daughter loves forts..I cover her climbing thing with a sheet and she gets excited...crawls in and out. They sell tubes and stuff for them to crawl through too..it's fun. It kills some time!
