also, she may have a food allergy that is causing it. I have a friend whos daughter had awful eczema and she had to cut out dairy and corn to make it go down.
I make my own massage oils at home to help my hubby with his back problems. You can use essentially anything. Extra virgin extra light olive oil will not be so greasy. There are also versions of light baby oil. I like using sunflower oil on occasion because it has a really nice smell and has loads of vitamin E and other vitamins. Its really good for the skin and hair.
Her patches you can't even really see unless you look close, you can just feel them if you were, say, rubbing her back. I have a Johnsons lotion, but when I used it she broke out. I've also been noticing that she is getting a dry mark on either side where her diaper is, but this one is red and angry looking. We have been wrapping her diaper loosley, and it's a size 6, so it does fit, but I wonder if the diaper is preventing moisture from getting there too?
I can't wait until summer! Then the dry skin should go away for about four months!
However, her back is already starting to show improvements. It isn't eczema she has, just dry skin issues. But if anyone else's little ones have this issue, I would strongly recommend the oil!
