Last night she got up at 10pm and I managed to get her back to sleep by 11pm. But then at 1130pm she woke up again and was up until 3am. So then I went to bed at about 330am and she woke this morning at 5am, but went back to sleep on her own. Not before I woke up of course. And then was up for the day by 9am.
We completley got rid of naps in a hope she would be too tired to wake up at night. And she goes down easier but she still wakes up. So we brought them back for me lol so I could nap while she did.
She has two blankies. Both are crotched things. I alternate so I can wash them lol. Plus she has a fish tank in her room and the fountain and pump give off white noise.
She does nap about three days a week. Only while at home. She wont nap at a sitters. But even on the days she naps it's the same up and at em routine in the middle of the night!
Sometimes, all it takes is a bit of something sweet. They did studies here on kids and found a little amount of sugar will soothe them better than any pain medication. I use bonjela, which is like baby orajel but it has a sweet licorice flavor. Dab it right on the spot and a few minutes later DD is calm. I'm pretty sure Hyland's teething tablets have a similar flavor. Maybe give them a try?
They do have hyland's teething gel, though that is still on the market. It might just do the trick.
