Marlow has recentley started to 'test' her crayons on all sorts of surfaces. She hides them until I am not looking, then takes one out and goes to town. I've been finding crayons everywhere for days!

Just hot water took it off the laminate, and windex and hot water took it off the deck doors. Body wash took it off of her, and the dog cleaned it off of himself.

But today she drew on her white closet door with green crayon. It's only two two inch swipes since I busted her at the get go, but I can't get it off! Hot water and soap didn't work, Fantastik didn't work. I don't want to peel the paint, but I would like it off if possible.

Do you ladies have any crayon removal methods that may be worth a try? Thanks!

magic eraser. I even use it on their shoes!

3rd vote for Magic eraser. it did get the crayon and the paint is still intact but the shineyness of the paint does get affected. Areas that were crayoned up are a lot duller then the areas around them. Just so you know. But the crayon is gone.

Magic eraser! I use it on our walls and doors often. Just don't scrub to hard because it can remove paint!

Well, looks like I'm going to have to buy a magic eraser! Will it take it off if I let it sit for a few days? It may be a bit before I can go grab one

Magic eraser for sure...U can also spray with something and use the eraser or buy the one's with a scrubby side...it doesn't matter how long the crayon has been sitting:)

Magic eraser will work even if the crayon has been there for days or weeks. You'll find that it is one of your newest favorite household items. Magic E and I are BFFs. LOL!

What brand of crayons are you using? Crayola Washable crayons and markers practically dissolve when water hits it. They wipe up so easily :o)

magic eraser, baby wipes, and finally regular tooth paste (not gel) are the 3 things I have used for crayons. The tooth paste was the last resort one.

They are dollar store crayons lol. She got them at the Easter thingy my fiancee's family threw. They are bigger and don't snap when she pushes hard so I thought they were great. Apparentley their greatnesss ends when they need to have their creativness wiped from my walls :)

I would go and get her the window crayons they wash off in 3 seconds and they wash off everything. It is also a lot of fun to draw on windows. they are like $5.00. Well worth it though.

Haha Nikki! Crayola Washables are the best. I know it costs a little bit more, but it really does come out of everything. When it comes down to it, you spend more buying erasers and you'll spend a lot of time scrubbing if you buy just the regular kind.

I stock up on Crayola stuff when back-to-school sales are on. DD is in love with tadoodles. They're so cute! :o)
