A friend of mine gave me 3 Day Potty Training by Lorna Jensen. Before I rush out and buy 30 pair of little girl panties (I am SHOCKED by how much kid underwear costs btw! lol) I wanted to know if anyone on here had tried it and had any success?

She said it worked for her, but her daughter is almost a year older then Marlow. Though the book says any child over 22 months can be trained.

Plus, as much as I love Marlow...spending 3 days strictly involved with her is going to be alot! lol

Just looking for opinions on this!!! Thanks

I'm not sure what it involves I can say my dd who was born same day as Marlow is completely potty trained all I did was have her wear panties only (just at home to begin with) we've never had an accident and even did the zoo on Friday and we just started potty training Monday and still not a single accident all pee & poop is on the potty even at the zoo

I potty trained my little girl at 2 1/2 yrs old. She had just a few accidents in the beginning but over all she did great! The timing worked out very nice for both of us. I just had her wear her little girl underwear all day. The funny thing I did was carry her little potty chair all over the house with me so that she could have it close by if she has to use the bathroom super fast lol it didn't take long for me to have her go in the bathroom with it but it worked for us! Just relax with it and have a very good attitude when your little one has accidents. Make a game of it if you like with stickers and a chart. It doesn't have to be so serious and stressful ;) best of luck!

Basically you make sure you have 20-30 pairs of clean underwear, three to four clean bedding sets, and then you make a big production and throw out ALL the diapers in the house. We are going to throw them in a bag and have daddy put them in the garage lol so she thinks they are gone but they aren't just in case....

Then you spend three FULL days in very close proximity to your LO. So that you can start to notice the tell tale signs of "I have to goooo". And so you can catch them in the act and direct them to the potty. You aren't allowed to zip off to cook, unless they are helping and right beside you. You can't leave the house for those three days. The potty is not meant to leave the washroom though so they know that voiding oneself is done in the washroom.

You aren't suppossed to have them try, just continuosly remind them to tell you if they have to go.

There are no pull ups involved, and it won't be 100% at the end, but more like 90%.

A friend of mine did it to her daughter and took her on a two hour road trip right after finishing and had no accidents!

I'm going to try it...but there will be some taking and leaving of what to dos lol.
