My niece that is spoiled rotten, also has strict parents...so I guess my niece would be the exception to that rule. Because she is spoiled, and she is expected to do chores as well as not mouth off to her parents. But on another note, to other children she is mean, selfish, and rotten...hmm sounds like parent issues to me. And if she has siblings things might have changed her...meaning that her siblings would force her to learn to share.. would not teach her the other stuff unfortunately.
Also she has the gimme attitude of an only child, and I have never seen in in a multi child house hold.
My daughter has it to some degree as well, but not as bad as that. I am not by any means saying my daughter is perfect...I am just saying that I disagree with u. I believe that children with out siblings do have an only child syndrome to some degree...I have seen it. I have also worked with children for over 20+ yrs!
