Just woundering what people thought about the idea of little ones getting their ear prieced when they are so young. My sister-in-law was going to take my daughter to get hers done for Christmas but I was very nice when I told her no thanks. I said that I felt I wanted Aubrey who is only 10 months to be able to come to me and ask to get them done when she feels ready like I did with my mom. I think she was upset as she had hers done when she was very young and also had her son's done when he was around Aubrey's age. She will not even ask to take Aubrey any where as she used to since having this conversation. I was not rude about it but it was the first time that I ever told her no that she could not get my daughter something or take her somewhere. She then had the nerve to say if I did this people would stop calling Aubrey a boy. Why should I care if people think she is a boy! I know what she is I had her. Just venting
I did want to pierce my first daughters ears young but her dad was against it so I just left it alone not even worth a fight so now we will wait till she tells us she wants them done! The other daughter is 9mos now so we will do the same for her too.
