As a first time Mom, you can imagine that every change in the baby's behavior is a reason for me to get scared. I am trying very hard to avoid panicking, but sometimes, well... you know how that goes.
I reduced the dosis of the gripe water, I am actually giving him a quarter of the recommended measure. He burps really good, and I think that because he feels so much better, he actually sleeps better too. The moany-groany episodes are gone since he takes the gripe water also.
Today, I have not given him any during the day, and he has slept well and has not been moany. I do think it was a growth spurt, because he was eating SO much more.
Thanks to all for your comforting words, I really felt like a bad Mom for giving him something that doped him, but apparently that was not the case.
Thanks again!
just wanted to tell u thanks for posting this up. i will most definately invest in a bottle!
Good luck!
I used it all of the time. In the US, the closest thing would be mylicon.
You can also try fennel seed tea with a bit of ginger mixed through if you prefer homeopathy. They also help heaps with teething babies!
