I am with my kids 24/7. If not all of them at least 1 of them. I have 3 kids. A 7 y/o w/ ADHD. A 5 y/o w/ some kind of behavoir problem, he hasn't been officially diagnosed yet. And a 3y/o that just thinks she can do whatever she wants, mainly cuz her dad lets her. No one will watch them so I can have a break. Sometimes I get so frustrated I feel like running away. I would if I didn't love them so much. I wish I would have waited longer to have kids.

I think most moms feel like running away on the bad days. Or at least crawling under a rock. I dunno -- I wish I'd not waited so long to have mine b/c now I can't have more than one. So, I guess there's always two sides to each coin.

I understand b/c I never had any help either. It was me and hubby and that's it. Now at least I have a couple of teens I hire one in a while, maybe 3 x a year, but at least it's something. Have you had any luck getting teenagers to watch them a couple of hours at a time? for me, they are more eager than most family members!

hang in there. kids change so fast and nothing lasts forever.

I had my 1st kid when I was 18. In the area we live in it wouldn't be wise to let a teen watch our kids. And even if we found a trustworthy one we are just too worried to leave them with someone we don't know, especially a teen.

We have a 6 year old, a 5 year old with Autism and a 2 year old with Downs syndrome....not too far off in ages...my husband works in another state during the week and while I love him....is home to eat mess and watch football and complain about being a better dad tomarrow......I WANT TO RUN AWAY TOO!!!!!!!

I would almost take any break.....Cant drink....have to stay sane...cant do speed its illegal....cant just go for a walk....the kids have to come too....I love my kids....there great....but my biggest dream right now is going to the bathroom without someone standing on the other side of the door....and taking a shower that lasts more than 30 seconds....which is about how long it takes on e for my kids to get into something...

I FEEL YOUR PAIN.....LETS RUN AWAY TO VEGAS FOR THE WEEKEND.
