My daughter is 6 and sometimes wets. She will wear pull ups. I have also limited what she drinks at night so she doesan't have an accident.
What is he drinking before bed? I now do not let my daughter drink a lot 1.5 hours before bed and I make sure she pees before bed.

I had him in pull ups until this year, he didn't want them anymore. I will try limiting his drinking.. it is so strange that his two brothers, ages 5 and 3, have no issues, the 5 yo even asks for water right before bed! I guess every kid is different.

Hi, just wanted to add that my just turned 7 year old wetted his bed pretty regularly up till about 6 1/2. Praying it's over now. I also limited his drinks before bed (his 2 girl cousins have no issues and take a full bottle of water to bed with them at night). I think boys struggle with this more commonly than girls for some reason. Mainly I think he just finally grew out of it. He also didn't want pull ups anymore around age 5. Oh and I thought about waking him and decided I just didn't feel like doing that b/c I wanted a good nights sleep! Would rather wash the sheets than stay up till midnight or have to wake up middle of the night : ) Hang tough, he'll get there!

My daughter had accidents until 7 yrs old. She will be 8 in January and in the last 4 months, she has been able to wake herself up in the middle of the night. What we did was get an potty alarm. It hooked unto her panties at night time and when the sensor picked up cold and wet, the alarm went off and it woke her up. She learned over a month to get up on her own. She had A LOT of trouble potty training just during the day. She was actually 4 before she was potty trained. She had sensory issues plus a small bladder. With the help of a pediatric urologist we got her potty trained day and night.

My son is 8 1/2 and still wets the bed. My daughter didn't once she was potty trained at 3 and my other son , same thing, didn't wet after being potty trained at 3.

For my 8 1/2 year old, he wears Good Nights. I have no advice, just letting you know you're not the only one.

Have him checked by a pediatric urologist. I grew up going to regular pediatric doctors that told my mom and me my wetting problems (every night numerous wetting and daytime struggles) would pass with time.
I stayed in thick cloth diapers with plastic pants at night and would be soaked every morning. When I was 14 or so m doctor said diapers were prolonging the problem so I was now allowed to flood my sheets, blankets, and pillows nightly. After a few months of this I went back to diapers.
Anyway not until I was 30 or so did I have a through urodynamic study done which showed I had a neurogenic bladder, probably since birth and the doctor told me I never stood a chance of overcoming my bedwetting issue or daytime leaking as well. I was offered a surgical procedure which the doctor said “may” help. I am not going under the knife for a maybe solution. Fortunately my skin is never affected by being wet. I live 24/7 diapered now and really find it only a minor inconvenience. I dont broadcast my issue but also don’t hide from it. Many have known or know I’m in diapers but find if it’s not a big deal to me it isn’t anyone else. I had some great college friends that found out when I passed out in a friends dorm room one night and soaked my pants, and this guys bed. I woke up feeling mortified but they playfully said well puddles is up! They nicknamed me puddles and if anyone asked why they called me that they would say “because he wets the bed” they were very supportive and allowed me to just play off it. My dorm room partner was fine about it which allowed me to stop trying to hide my
diapers and put a protective plastic sheet over my mattress.
