Paranoia Support Group
Paranoia is a disturbed thought process characterized by excessive anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. It is often associated with psychotic illnesses, sometimes schizophrenia, although attenuated features may be present in other primarily non-psychotic diagnoses, such as paranoid personality disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.
Paranoia and extreme exhaustion probably, like if you haven't been sleeping good for a long time can make you hallucinate.
Did the shadow dude show up after the paranoia kicked in?
I'd honestly go see a psych doctor. Don't let it get any worse.
What I would advice you is that if you keep seeing this "shadow man", and it gets worse than you should seek professional help(before it gets worse) &/or sit your mother down and MAKE her listen, tell her that you are NOT exaggerating, but *sighs* . . .you may have already tried this. I don't understand some adults, its as though they had never been young themselves. . .
Best of luck, Ivry.
I really only get like this at my house, but it has always been the place that I stress out the most.
I started anti psychotics and it all went away. I think seeing a doctor and getting some help would bring you a world of relief.
Things still act up every now and then, I'll see things, hear voices, or think I am Mother Theresa, an alien hybrid, excedera, excedera, but it's usually due to a really bad mania that lifts off, and because the med. regiment isn't working so well anymore.
I'd serious get some help, if your mom won't listen, is there someone at school maybe that will? Do you have a school therapist type person? it's really something you want to control because it gets worse!
