Paranoia Support Group
Paranoia is a disturbed thought process characterized by excessive anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. It is often associated with psychotic illnesses, sometimes schizophrenia, although attenuated features may be present in other primarily non-psychotic diagnoses, such as paranoid personality disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.
I know that saying this will probably not help your situation, but maybe if you hear it from an outside point of view it may help. By reading your message it sounds like you are suffering from classic symptoms of paranoia. I know that when someone is in a state of paranoia, it can be hard to think rationally, and because of that it is hard to trust someone. They feel like people are ganging up on them or are doing things to them, but in truth, in reality, they are not. It can be exceptionally hard to think rationally. Are you seeing any psychiatrists or taking any medication right now? Ask yourself what makes you think that people are mucking with your head? What purpose would they have to do so? Also, we don't have very futuristic technology so something like that is extremely unlikely. Doctors cannot be a part of mucking with someone because they would be sued and they would lose their liscenses. They are there to help, despite what you may feel right now. People can't muck with other peoples heads, and if they could (which they can't) they would more likely be doing so to someone who is in a position of extreme importance and power (like the President or the Queen), not people like you and me. Even if you don't believe it right now, keep telling yourself that this is your illness. It is a nasty illness which makes you feel bad, and makes you mistrustful. Having paranoia is not your fault, and it can be treated. You can get better!!!!
I still ruminate about it so if anyone has any advice I'd appreciate it.
