Paranoia is a disturbed thought process characterized by excessive anxiety or fear, often to the point of irrationality and delusion. It is often associated with psychotic illnesses, sometimes schizophrenia, although attenuated features may be present in other primarily non-psychotic diagnoses, such as paranoid personality disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder.

Hi. I would just try super hard to distract yourself when this happens. Because once we start thinking about bad possibilities, it causes us to be more anxious. Especially about things that we cannot control.

Unfortunately I have the same thing. I despise being in the car. I try to keep music on that I know...sometimes that helps. Or my husband holds my hand sometimes to reassure me. I'm here if you want to talk more. Hugs.

I hope that in the time since you posted this you have felt better about things or at least found ways to cope, but just to throw my two cents in, I feel like if you tried doing relaxation exercises each day like meditation or possibly yoga it might help. Things like this tend to focus the mind and allow you to connect with your rational self. Best wishes.

Im ready to start...
