I just keep thinking that it's something in my diet missing to make me so unstable, there is just no reason for me to be so anxious.
I am making a major job change though, the change is throwing me off I think..
Does anyone else get them set off by change...I hate being so scared, the attacks just make it that much harder to do anything.
I am a new member, I've been having panick attacks since I was 25 year old, now I'm 45. I start with med like Paxil didn't work for me, I had a wierd reaction to it. then doctor change meds to Xanax it work fine but I felt too groggy, always in cloud 9. but I used for a 5 years. I change my doctor and he thinks Xanax is to addictive so he put me on Doxepin which is a old Antidepressant, It work better. I've been with Doxipin liquid form for 15 years now only have Panick Attach maybe once every 6 months. when I forget I have the Panick Attach and drink Cafeine drink like Coke soda on occasion. also avoid dark soda drinks, too much sugar, causes Blood Pressure spikes, homemade lemonade is better with one tea spoon of sugar is enough, Avoid Cafeine, Alcohol, Smoking, Sodas, Sugary sweets. Also during a panick attach breath inside an paper bag and inhale the same air, this will help relax since your body has too much oxygen compare to Carbon Dioxide which is the air you exhale.
Most Panick Attach sufferers, have low amount of Magnesium, So I also take Magnesium supplement 100mg which prevent the Fight/Flight response , in other words, prevent the release of chemicals into the blood which triggers fear. I also take Coemzyme Q10 Supplements to increase ATP to converting Food into Enery which we all need. :)
Again I am not a doctor, this is just my Advice based on 20 years experience.
Take care... keep in touch
