it gives the the typically started dosages and increase time frames. I'm on effexor and can only increase 75mg every six weeks. I still have to wait 7 weeks to be at my full dosage and then another 6-8 to see if it is enough. My pdoc said that it really takes 6-8 weeks for them to take effect and with effexor it actually says the Efficacy date (truly start to work) can take up to 6 months for me to feel the true effects for my anxiety and and almost a year for depression. These are not short term medications and as my pdoc explained they are not quick acting and unfortunately we continue to suffer.
