I have a VERY hard time taking pills, I have a big fear that they're going to get lodged in my throat or go down sideways and hurt my throat. I spend a lot of time positioning the pill just right on my tongue before swallowing. It doesn't always work, but it makes me feel better.
I do generally ask for liquid medications when available or very small pills. When i do take small pills i take a sip of water, put the pill in, and then chug. if you put water in first the pill floats right away and you really dont feel it in your mouth!!
I don't even notice with water. I could just take them and swallow (I have before). At the moment my pills are my sane gateway.
I hang out to take them.
Sounds awful, yeah! But, so true.
