I do take Benicar 40 mg but I never experienced a drop in pressure even when I wasn't stressed, however, last summer, I visited my sister in law, who is a lab tech, she took my pressure every day and it was great, like 120 something over 80 or lower with meds.
Going to see my pdoc and get some therapy to get over this phobia. I cannot live like this.
