how sick are we? is it going to get better? do you really think there is a pill for everything? i'm so glad to be off my meds. but i'm having doubts..i just have to find something else. i'm starting another round of acupuncture treatments and my yoga classes again. any other suggestions. i don't think that meds are bad. it was a bad experience for we and i HAVE to find another way...

it sounds like you do have another way, via acupuncture and yoga ... do you find them healpful? do you practice mindful breathing or meditation? ..... you said you have your doubts, what are you doing to process them? .... my doubts tend to take over my sense of reality, I wish they wouldn't ....

You have to be patient. You'll get there. Take one day at a time. Live in the present and continue to do what you're doing. Remember you are stronger than the anxiety. I'm trying to get through this without meds and am slowly improving. Be good to yourself and praise yourself. Don't think negatively. The mind has a powerful effect on the body.

thanks so much for your responses. i think i was feeling overwhelmed and VERY impatient...it's great to finally hear from people that understand the struggle, and are overcoming too. I've had PAs since I was 21. There are times when I think they are gone for good... them BOOM, they sneak back up on me. I have no idea what triggers them and wish I did so I could be free of them. I can go a couple of months feeling just great, then have them really bad for a month or so, then they slack off, and I'm ok for awhile.
