Panic Attacks Support Group
A panic attack is a period of intense fear or discomfort, typically with an abrupt onset and usually lasting no more than thirty minutes. Symptoms include trembling, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, sweating, nausea, dizziness, hyperventilation, and sensations of choking or smothering. Panic attacks can be very sudden, appear to be unprovoked, and are often...
its my firm conclusion that many sufferers become addicted to the fear and adrenalin rush and refuse to do anything that might stop panic attacks, also they amuse themselves by pretending they want to get better.....
eg. cant take valium because its addictive, cant taks prozac due to weight gain
at the moment I know 2 who have been housebound for about 25 years each......
not have an orgasm o.o
That's the craziest thing i've heard.
most people i know do take a benzo for their anxiety...in my opinion they are a bit to quick to take such a dangerous drug. some people (me) either need drugs to give them enough peace to work through it and some people think they do...
these benzos are serious shit. i hate that i'm on them and think if there is any way to avoid it it should be done. the idea of anyone getting pleasure out of anxiety attacks is just ignorant, but some some will put up with it while trying other, possibly more holistic approaches.
either way it kinda sucks but thanks for making light of the situation...too funny!
I have been in firefights and under rocket/mortar attacks and I have had plenty of experience with fear, but I did not run an cower in a corner when these events took place. I gripped my weapon with white knuckles and stood my ground with my head and ass wired to the ground. Take that scenario and juxtapose it to last year where I was in line at the supermarket, and i was literally trying to leave my body! These are two quite different sensations, and I can assure you they are quite different in their respective physical effects and the subsequent physiological impact they have had on my body and mind.
In other words, I would rather be back there with a rifle in hand in REAL danger than in the supermarket freaking out? That is where it becomes something of an uncontrollable disorder from the sufferer's experience, IMO, anyway.
There is no 'pleasure' to be derived for anyone regardless of gender for anyone who has experienced the full brunt of their impact. Not unless they are pretty much ready for the rubber room and a straight jacket!
