All I can assure you of is, although it may feel like it, you're not losing your mind...it's part of the disorder. Try and take a few deep breaths and know that you're -not- alone. =)
I think a common thing when you are feeling down is to think that you're all alone and helpless and nothing will help..
when in all honesty, there are so many other people going through the same thing.
it does get better..I assure you.
you just have to find the right kind of treatment for you (whether that be medication, meditation, counseling or a combination)
I did feel alone when the panic monster first showed its face. for years Dr's didn't seem to offer much help. This was in 1995. Today, MANY people and doctors know of this condition.
I have learned to roll w/ the bad days because there ARE better days ahead. When i get thinking to much, i go off in my mind and think about my woodshop, or a design or even the beauty of the opposite sex. If you have a love one, think of the joy you feel w/ him. make it a habit and after a while, its second nature. hope that helps,
Mark
