These links will lead you to information about anxiety disorders the first step is understanding what is happening to your body and then you can work on ways to prevent or at least lessen the effects of the attacks.
If I was you I would look up free counselling available in your area it is something you attend alone. If there is nothing then you should keep a detailed journal of your ups and downs each day until you get a new therapist. Although I do not agree with what your therapist has told you, you can fix yourself without fixing others, cut the negativity out of your life and move on you are to young to suffer this way.
