Hi everyone! I know I have GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), but lately I have started to wonder whether I have a Panic Disorder too. Almost every time I am truly scared or upset, my breathing gets really shallow, quick, and raspy. Like today, I found a bunch of bees in the house and one started following me and I freaked out. I started breathing really fast and crying uncontrollably. Is that a panic attack? Because I feel like such a baby, freaking out over nothing. Thanks!

When you are in anxiety acute levels, the least bit of "extra" can set off a panic attack, and it is scary.
One of the ways I am learning to make my anxiety work for me is to use the tingling sensation I get in my neck to help me relax, pause, and look for what will be effective.
You are not alone.
I agree, I would mention this the next time you are at the doctor's just to be on the safe side.
