im sorry your family isnt more proactively supportive.. its hard to make it through anxiety/depression/ or anything else without a solid support network. luvkily this site seems to fill that role for a lot of people rather well. but i feel you.. if i hear " its all in your head" or "get over it" one more time i may well pop a cap into something inanimate.
trust me on one thing though... coming here... whether you just read, or if you actively write to people as well.. it helps.... we people with anxiety depression.. etc... we gotta stick together because noone that doesnt suffer from it can understand, no mattter how much they want to.
good luck! and much affection!
My new therapist gave me a test for PTSD, and I scored over 90%, so there are triggers in public places that I'm going through therapy to deal with. Right now, because the anxiety and panic is so bad, I'm on meds as well.
I hope you know you are not alone. Hang in there.
I thank you for sharing also, I do appreciate when someone gives me some insight.
Thank God I have found a physciatrist that is awesome and has helped me find medications that help and I have found a therapist that not only is teaching me behaviors to deal with the attacks, but she also has suffered from them herself so she totally gets it.
This site helps me because if there is one piece of advice that I can give or get, then it makes me feel like I am serving a cause.
I have suffered for a long time with panic attacks and I would love to help you through this if I can.
