A panic attack is a period of intense fear or discomfort, typically with an abrupt onset and usually lasting no more than thirty minutes. Symptoms include trembling, shortness of breath, heart palpitations, sweating, nausea, dizziness, hyperventilation, and sensations of choking or smothering. Panic attacks can be very sudden, appear to be unprovoked, and are often...
I am so sorry you are going through this. You need a plan. First, keep bugging your doctor. Call and leave messages hourly if necessary. Say something like, "I need help right now. Please reorder my meds. I don't want you to be responsible for what I do if I am off them much longer. My husband is getting upset with you also doctor. I don't need him in a terrible mood at this time also"
This tries to appeal to the doctor's human side. It is also kind of a veiled warning that the doctor might be somehow responsible for anything that might happen. It has the feeling of law suit to it without actually saying it. I know you can't afford a lawyer but hopefully, he doesn't. Next time you see him get some samples and keep them for emergencies like this. Ask the nurse if you have to and get her to save some for you if they tell you that they are out of them. A good nurse can be a real treasure. Ask her to phone you when she has samples. Hope this helps.

Then again, she really is beyond impossible to reach. She has no secretary or staff. I tell her nonstop that my home phone does not work and that she needs to reach me on my cell phone, but since it is long distance she will not do that. She then complains about how I didn't return her messages on my home phone when I have been telling her for three or four years now that the thing does not work.
Get angry - it actually makes you act more positively and takes you by surprise. x x
I noticed that if the pharmacy calls, she listens but if I call she does not.
Still, I feel like the worst patient ever. I'm going to call to thank her for calling them in and also appologise for constantly cancalling appointments. Still, I do feel like it is a two way street with us and that she really is impossible to contact, which is just wrong.
I am starting to feel better gradually, but am off and on with these panic attacks. Also, my OCD is starting to give me a lot of what if thinking which is causing me to have attacks of anxiety.
This is day three of panic and I just want it to end. I'm so scared...
I got a very good nights sleep as I am back up on my klonopin and got some trazodone to help me sleep (always knocks me right out). I'm feeling much better currently, but I still am having panic attacks periodically which just causes me to crash.
Currently, I just have this fear that I have deteriorated to the way I once was, and that I am going to stay in this state of anxiety for months to a year like I once was. I don't know if I can deal with that. Also, I am afraid of losing my job due to this anxiety just like I lost my last job.
I experienced nothing but panic the entire time I was at work yesterday, and am very frightened of losing my job due to panic attacks as this is how I lost my last job. Everyone, including the owner, saw that I just didn't appear right, and I had a huge talk with my boss about how I suffer from panic disorder. He was very understanding, but also believes that I can't work like that as I both am around knives and deli slicers while I am shaking (my biggest symptom) and he is afraid of me making customers uneasy. It is this later statement of his that makes me think I am going to lose this job, and there is no way that I can risk that with the financial problems we are currently in.
