Meanwhile, it does help to talk to people who understand. A person who has never had a panic attack will never "get" it in a million years.
No one dies of a panic attack or falls on the floor frothing at the mouth (one of my fears).
Meds do help while you're trying to learn coping skills. Knowledge is power and the more you learn about panic attacks, the better you will be prepared for them.
