i have anxiety and scared to go out am on propranolol 40mg am the doctors have give me mirtapine am not take am to scared. scared of sideeffects can anyone help me find the right one for anxitety am sick of asking the doctors big hugs thanks

I think mirtapine is similar to mirtazapine, in which case, don't be tempted to up the dosage above what you're prescribed - not even by a little. I felt so flat I just couldn't respond to anything. Otherwise it is a really effective treatment! Good luck

I am on 80 mg of propranolol. I also take 3 other anti depressants and each one has its own set of side effects. But for me then best thing to do was to ake the medicine and just face what side affects come at first. Now, I don't suffer much from the ide affects like I used to. I think you will be okay in the end. If the doctor perscibed it, it was probably for good reason. Just take some deep breaths and try to know that things will work out in the end.
