I can't find anything to do for it. It is awful. So hard not to just let it go anywhere and anytime.

I dont personally have issues with the burping but Ive known of others who do. The one guy I knew had an episode of smelly burping for months and then it suddenly went away. I dunno what the cause is for that. He was told it had to do with his biliary system (gall bladder, pancrease, live, ducts) but that's all he knew.

I am sorry you are feeling so terrible, I do know what you are talking about though, I get that way too, just don't know what to do with it either. I do know that when I am feeling so sick I stop eating and only drink liquids for about a week, it seems to help me feel better and that is what they will have you do in the hospital and since I hate going to the hospital I just do what I know they would have me do. I will pray for you that your pain will be less and less as each day goes by. I wish I had an answer for the burping but I don't know what to do with them for me either. Nancy H

I have had a problem with burping since I had my first attack in March and just found out that I have Gastroparesis ( the stomach is slow to empty) They found this during my EUS when they had to pull 200cc of fluid off of my stomach. Talking with the Dr. he said it may be traped air since the stomach is not working. I don't know if this is the problem, but its something to think about. I don't go back to the GI until the 19th so I have no idea how they will treat this. I will let you know if treating the Gastroparesis helps with the burping.

Endoscopic Ultra Sound. I've had it done and, for me, it went easy. I can't say what other's experience was. However, they weren't able to diagnose anything from it and now they want to do the ERCP which I am refusing.

If you're having a procedure done and you don't know anything about it, it would be good for you to google it and reseach it. Make sure it is the right procedure for you. Take your health care into your own hands!

I have had the ERCG but not the other. It was a breeze. I didn't even know that had finished. I did fine and they found nothing. My pancreatis was caused by hydrocone. It built up in my system and cause the liver and pancreas to go wacko. My lypase were 6800, and the amlase was 209. They came down and went by up in 7 days to 2900 and now 6 weeks later they are still 751 liver is ok. now. I had 2 c-scans, mri, ultrasound and several other test. Nothing was found except the pancrea was badly inflamed.

I have the same problem with loud , painful burps. I take Pantaloc twice a day and it seems to help a little.

Well went to the doctors today and guess what he told me the burping and gas on the other end is caused by my stomach being slow to empty. I have to go on some kind of enzymes to help. I will let you know how it works. Good days I hope for everyone.

Glad you found some answers, now lets pray they find something to help me today. I have been vomiting non stop since late Sat night and every muscle in my body is killing me. How can we vomit with nothing to eat for days? The zofram has stopped working and I am eating pain pills like candy- I'm down to 114lbs from 148 in March and its all I can do to get out of bed- living on water only. I'm taking my mom or sister with me today because I don't feel like my GI is moving fast enough- order a test this week to be done in 2 weeks see you back in 2 weeks after that! If he was in this much pain I bet he would move faster! I don't have the energy to fight with him and I need back up. Sorry just neede to vent.

When I was in my worst attack they gave me a shot for the vomiting and don't remember the name. I was so dehydrated I had to go the ER. They gave a hot of Nuhbane it only comes in shot form but I worked for 6 to 7 hours. Ask your GI to give you a shot. for nuhbane it really did work for the pain. I use stadol for the pain. It is for headaches but they use it for severe pain. It works faster and longer that the pills. I will say a special prayer for you today. I hope you will get some relief. If not change to a GI that does. I just found out they don't carry the enzymes he put me on so now back to 0.
Does this cycle never end. I don't throw up a lot. Only if I eat a meal. I try to stay on really small amounts at a time. You should try the slim fast. It has all the protein and vit.s you need. I drink that in the morning and it coats my tummy. Just don't know what else to tell you other than to get your mom to attack the GI and kick his butt. Then maybe he will do something... hey Pam i was also taking Zofran and it stopped working then they gave me Reglan and it has so far been working, that is the worst symptom i have is the nausea well untill the pain comes but for me it is mostly dry heaves.and also alot of GI Dr are really not into the pancrease thing i loved my GI but he told me straight out i needed to see this other GI Dr who is specializing in pancrease diseases that he knows more about it, try asking your Dr?i got to tell you since i have seen the new Dr he is all over it like white on rice he sat down and really explained alot he told me to put in order the wort to best symptoms and we worked on it together to me this new Dr is the man

Thanks Txmudpuppy- my gp put me on reglan last week and I stopped taking it the cramps were worst than the pancreas pain. I also went on line and looked it up reglan is some deadly stuff I'm not going to take it- I don't need more problems. My pancreatitis has calmed down it the gastroparesis that is getting me now! I see the Dr. in a couple of hours- I need fluid and food! If he dosen't do something I may go to the ER. I don't want to go to the er because you sit there for hours before being seen. I just don't know how much more of this I can take. Thanks for listening.

oh gee i didnt even bother looking up Reglan hmmmmm i think we are all just screwed...lol it seems everyday i hear more bad then good news good luck today and let us know what happens
