I am new here and had no idea where to start I will just talk away and say whatever comes out. I was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis in 2009. I have gone thru severe pain, had stones removed from bile duct which resulted in complications with pneumonia and a collapsed lung, then had gall bladder removed and ended up with chronic pancreatitis, Was hospitalized for 5 months, have had numerous ERCPs, MRI, Cat Scan, Ultrasounds even injected with a pain blocker. I am on CREON 12000 Units and have reoccuring mild attacks, I am on a fat free diet now and have had pain for again, though not as severe, it is still scary, severe attack could hit anytime. TP/AIT is next for me, I was called from transplant center in Dallas today, they will call back again next week to schedule me for dr. visit, evaluation and probably some more tests. I am trying so hard to stay strong, and set a "back to normal life" goal. I try to put on my smiley face throughout the day but by the end of the day I feel drained, am scared to death and just feel like crying, I want to know what to expect from supporters that have been through this. Thank you for listening to me, Have a goodnite.
