I got a Garmin VĂvosmart to measure my steps.
I would walk a short ways until i would feel uncomfortable. Recorded the number of steps.
Then i set up a schedule to increase the number of steps a day.
When i started this plan i could only go 400 steps before i had bad pain.
I am now up to 3700 steps.
If i feel weak i will put a tablespoon of maple syrup in lemon water (water with the juice of half a lemon). Sometime i will use two tablespoons if i am real down on my calories.
I tend to use things like honey or maple syrup for food energy as refined sugars cause problems for me.
Hope this helps.
