I have my ERCP tomorrow and they are going to replace the stent that fell out. I have to say that I am looking forward to it because hopefully it will give some consistent pain relief. After the second stent placement I had about a week where I felt almost normal and then things took a turn for the worse because it fell out. I was back with the normal constant daily pain. Now I will just have to figure out if they will have to do another one after they put the one in tomorrow.
Does anyone know if the stent placment is successful does it last for a year or so? Or is it a permanent fix?

but some ppl say they help a lot....it is just a gamble sorry hun... no one really can say for sure on that one...
