I am pretty sure I have an angry pancreas although the imaging I have had to date shows that its all cool. I.e. They can not see any evidence of CP but I have pretty steady pain under left rib and in left shoulderblade in the hours after eating.
Because the doctors have no idea what is wrong with me and I suspect CP or at least some sort of pancreatic problem, I am trying to stick to the advice of a low fat diet.
What I did take from your post is to suppliment the 0 fat meals I am having with something. What that something is I'll need to search for. Carnation instant breakfast mixed in with my oatmeal? I.e. Adding calories without adding volume.

My foster son puts non-fat Isopure whey protein in his drinks (or food).
It has helped him put on a little weight.
